DOUBLE CLICK FOR HEADER ON WORD 2010

I USED TO BE ABLE TO DOUBLE CLICK ON THE "HEADER SECTION" OF MY WORD DOCUMENT TO INSERT MY HEADER.

NOW WHEN I GO TO MY WORD DOCUMENT, I CAN'T. I HAVE TO CLICK ON THE INSERT TAB THEN CLICK ON HEADER. I HATE IT NOW AND I'M EVEN SURE HOW IT CHANGED OR WHY!? PLEASE HELP ME GET IT BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS.

I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING IN THE SETTINGS BUT I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET IT BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS. 

Do you have the white space visible between the pages? If not, move the mouse cursor to the top of the page until it changes to two vertically opposed arrows and then double click.
