docProperties do not update with F9.

Upon opening a document, I can only see the codes.....no values.  How do I change this back?  None of my docProperties update.

ALT+F9 toggles between field codes and values. CTRL+A then F9 updates the fields in the main document area. For a more comprehensive update see the example code at http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm
