'Clear all' missing in Style Pane - Word 2010

Hello,

The option 'Clear all', to clean all formatting, usually placed at the top of the Style Pane in Word 2010, has disappeared in some documents. Any idea how to get it back?

If you start Word in Safe mode, as a troubleshooting step, do you still see the problem? If you do, it suggests that the problem is with an add-in of yours, or with the Normal template, or with registry entries on your system.

Here is how to start in Safe mode: Exit Word if it is currently running. Hold the Ctrl key as you (re-)start Word the way you normally would, and click yes when asked about Safe mode. (To turn off Safe mode later, just exit and restart Word.)
