Can't send email from Word App

Can't send an e-mail from my word app no associated e-mail provider have seen a few queries is windows 8 realy this antiquated you can't just send an e-mail. How can i fix this problem in simple terms as i realy need to send an e-mail or two

Create  an email message in whatever e-mail application you use and attach the file to it.

Go to your profile (click on JimFisherXN) and click on Edit Profile and in the Private information section, uncheck the box for Receive email notifications.
