cannot move table in header or footer word 2010

I am trying to line up a table with the Page Border but cannot move the table using the handles.

Hello Stefan,

Thank you for all you help.  I figured out what the problem was.  The table has Content Controls and Bookmarks in it.  I don't know about the Bookmarks but the Content Controls restrict some editing if the document is not in Design Mode.  So by going to the Developer tab and selecting Design Mode I was able to then move the table.  Thanks again.
