180 Day Free Trial

For my CIS 111 Course I had to get the 180 day free trial. I installed it and it was working perfectly until recently and it wont let me do anything in word and says I need to buy the real version even though I haven't had it for 180 days yet. Can someone help me out?

You need to contact the help desk at your college/course.

Such problems have been reported previously with no definitive answer/response as to how to overcome.

You might check that you don't have any other preinstalled trial version of MS Office installed

Number 1 IMPORTANT POINT

Do NOT Uninstall Your 180 day Trial version!

If you uninstall it you won't be able to re-install it. So that standard part of the trouble shooting routine is one that you cannot use on this problem.

How are you trying to start it?   What happens, any error message?

If your days haven't expired, go into Programs and Features. Look for a "Microsoft Office ???" entry that has an install date of Sept, Oct or Nov 2013 that is NOT your trial. If you find one, uninstall it and do an Office repair of your trial.
