Why does my Microsoft powerpoint 2010 crash when I try to edit a slide? I can't even start a presentation.

Whenever I try to insert text into a presentation the program crashes. Why does this keep happening?

The installation of Boot camp 3.2 disables the keyboard language setting in Office 2010

Below are the steps that you need to perform

 

Go to File > Options > Language" in PPT 2010 and you will see under the heading ‘keyboard layout’ a hyperlink which says ‘not enabled’.

Click on the hyperlink and select a keyboard layout and the keyboard's language. Once you complete the process it will state ‘enabled’ under the keyboard layout heading.

Change the Language setting from ‘US English apple’ to ‘US English International’ under key board settings
