Quick Step - Respond New Message Font

In 2010, I created a quick step for a new email with text put into the body.   Is there a way to set Outlook, so that the font of this text is my default text font.  (It looks like it is using the Calibri 11 - I have my default to send all emails in Times New Roman 12 blue)

Thanks

Answer

I just managed to fix this.

Go to File>Options>Mail>Editor options>Advanced

And then scroll down to the “Cut, copy paste" section

Set the following:

Within the same email: – merge formatting

Pasting between emails: - merge formatting

Pasting from other programs:  - merge formatting

I tried a few combinations to see which of these three was affecting it but gave up after a few – it may well be that you don’t need all 3 set like this, but I am not sure. Anyway setting all 3 like this works for me and changed the font from times new roman to by default font and font colour.

Yay! Hope this helps someone else

Liz
