"Insert a Smart Card" Dialogue Box is popping up on multiple computers in our office...

It is directly related to Outlook 2010 as it doesn't pop up until we open our Outlook and goes away if we close it.  If we select "Cancel" then our Exchange status in the bottom right corner reads "Need Password" then after a few seconds it goes back to being connected.  Not related to any other Office 2010 applications.  I think it has something to do with the Tuesday Update as it wasn't happening until we came in this morning.  It is a few PCs in the office, but not all of them.  Help?

The following thread can be monitored for updates regarding this problem (the interim solution is to uninstall kb2553248 as has already been identified)

Update - 4/13  ~13:30-14:00 EST
the above thread has proposed some IIS setting changes regarding this issue - specifically as noted in answers from <Gabriel Batton> & <RKeith> -(MS Support) so any follow-up to this would likely be much more productive/useful being posted in that thread.
