Office Home and Student 2020 Installation

Applies To: Office | Office 2010 | Installing and Activating Microsoft Office Products | Windows XP
Just installed MS Office Home and Student 2010.  It will not allow me to operate Words nor will it screen-up any of my saved documents in Words

Answer

That is probably cause you still have a trial version installed on the computer. Which you might have to uninstall.

The options open in control panel under add remove programs.

Or

Office package is not activated. To see if its activated you might have to click on File-->Help--> and activate your product.

Uninstall the previous version of Office using the fixit tool and check if this helps
