Error: Microsoft office has encountered a problem with licensing and will need to close. If this problem persists, uninstall and reinstall your product.

I have had my Dell Vostro 3400 laptop for about a year now.

Today I had to restore the system back to about 3 days ago because of another issue. Since I restored it my Microsoft Office 2010 Starter Edition keeps giving me this error message when I open it: "Microsoft office has encountered a problem with licensing and will need to close.  If this problem persists, uninstall and reinstall your product." My document is showing in the background but obviously I can't get to it and I have to close Office.

I have already repaired, used a bunch of programs to remove it, reinstall it. Nothing works. 
Since it came pre-installed with my computer I have no licensing code for it, but I need to have it working ASAP.

Has anyone had this problem before??

Office 2010 Starter is preloaded software on your machine and comes with an OEM license.
It seems that Office installation is damaged. You will have to reinstall the product.
You need to contact the computer manufacturer to reinstall Office starter.

Unfortunately it seems that Dell doesn't provide chat support unless you still have warranty, which has just recently expired...
