PHANTOM PROJECTS DISPLAYED IN VBE IN OFFICE 2010

I upgraded to Office 2010 within the last month and I've started to notice that Projects for workbooks that have been opened and closed continue to be displayed in the VBE once closed.  Has anyone else seen this and how do I address it?

I have not come across a fix other than removing potential addins that may cause it.

Thanks for the references.  I'd noticed this intermittently in the past, but I see it a lot more now.  I'll check some of the suggestions in the references.
