I was typing in Microsoft Word 2010 when all of a sudden my macros disappeared

I was typing in Microsoft Word 2010 when all of a sudden my macros disappeared.  Where can I find them.  I had hundreds and hundreds but I don't know where they are in the computer.  Can you help me.

What kind of macros are those? Are you using them with any document in Word or with documents created from a particular template? In the former case, the macros could be in the Normal template or in an add-in; in the latter case, the macros are probably in the particular custom template.

Also, did you uninstall some third-party application recently?

My macros are in Word 2010.  They have disappeared.  When I bring up macros in Word, there is nothing there.  I had thousands.  I don't know what file microsoft has them in or what it is even called. They have to be floating around in "cyberspace" but I don't know where to look.

But what kind of macros? Did you use them for all documents? How did you add them? By recording them? Or by installing something?
