Excel 2010 Customize Keyboard shortcuts

Applies To: Office | Office 2010 | Microsoft Office Customization and Programming | Excel

I have searched high and low and I cannot for the life of me find out how to customize the keyboard in Excel 2010?  Why must it be so difficult?  Can anyone put me out of my misery and tell me how to accomplish this simple thing?

I just want to assign a keystroke to an Excel command.

Hi,

Record a macro of yourself executing whatever cammand and assign a shortcut to the macro.

When you do it ensure you save it in personal.xlsb then it will be available in all workbooks.
