Word 2007 messes up the formatting of outside documents
I have some users when they get a word document emailed to them from an outside source, the format in Word 2007 keeps messing up. We are running Microsoft Office Professional 2007 in Windows 7 Professional service pack 1 , 32-bit. Any reason why this
keeps happening? Don't know what the outside source is running or how many people has revised it before coming to my users.
It would be helpful to have a description of what "messed up" means in this case.
One common cause of changes in page layout is that Word (all versions) relies heavily on information from the currently selected printer driver. Opening a document on a computer that uses a different printer can cause different spacing between characters,
which in turn can cause line breaks and page breaks to change. Read
