Recover Word Document that was downloaded as "open" not "save as"

Hi I have problem recovering my documents. I downloaded a word document from hotmail, through IE8. Then I press Open instead of save as. I made some changes to document press "save" instead of "save as" close. and when i try to open thorugh "recent" its not there! i am in panic now please help.

Btw I tried going to C:\Users\Henry\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files  to no avail i still cant find it T_T. PLEASE HELP

Hi guys thanks for the suggestions!, i found out in another thread through:

  1. Redownloading same file using "open" instead of "save as"
  2. press the circle office button at top left hand corner
  3. under "prepare" tab press "properties" then i can see the directory it was saved to,
  4. mine it was saved under C:\Users\Henry\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\4696AAKZ\
    (it can be under any of the subfolders in the bolded folders)
