Opening .HTML Files

I have some .HTML files that I need to convert to Word documents.  My current process is to:

  1. open a new, blank, Word document
  2. minimize the Word window
  3. double-click the .html file (file opens in IE)
  4. in IE, touch CNTRL-a  CNTRL-c
  5. maximize the Word window
  6. in Word, touch CNTRL-v
  7. save the Word file
Is there a more direct way to do this?
Sometimes while doing so we get other unwanted things copied to our word document which interrupts in flexible naviagation through the document.
What I do is first copy the html document and paste it into a .txt document (i.e. notepad), then I save it close it re-open it copy the text and paste it into word document.
That's it.
