Microsoft document imaging

I have Word 2007 and Windows 7. I am confused by my attempts to download Microsoft document imaging and the responses to this of Comodo security suite and malwarebytes. How can I get it safely?

Microsoft Document Imaging is included in Office 2007, it just might be turned off. To turn it on, follow the steps below:

1. Open Control Panel and click Uninstall a Program.

2. Find Microsoft Office 2007. Right-click it and select Change.

3. Click Add or Remove Features in the setup window that opens, and click Continue.

4. Under Installation Options, click the plus sign (+) next to Office Tools.

5. Click the arrow next to Microsoft Office Document Imaging, click Run all from my Computer, and then click Continue.

6. Setup will finish configuring Office 2007. Reboot if necessary.

Thanks. Ihave  implemented this procedure, but the  program is still not there. I wasn't supposed to have the installation disc inserted, was I? I don't remember any options affecting this when I installed Office.

If the installer required the disc it would have prompted for it. The link should be in All Programs > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Tools

If you have the installation disc, you could re-install the suite to see if it makes a difference.

Re-run the setup as originally described and make it unavailable. OK out of the dialog, allow Office to re-configure, then repeat adding it back in again.
