Keep getting error message about macros when I run Microsoft Word 2007 (I have Windows Vista)

I keep having this problem when I run Word 2007 (I can still create documents, etc., but I have to try to close the darned error message several times):

Thanks for your pointers, Suzanne. I had posted a related question about difficulties with running Microsoft Excel 2007 (kept getting an error message about the update package not being right, and Windows Installer unable to open the program), but with a link provided by Norman David Jones, I ran the Fix-It tool program. Voila, all the error messages disappeared, including the message about macros while opening Microsoft Word 2007. Somehow an update did not fully work in late Dec., and there were corrupted registry keys.

 

The Microsoft Community has helped me once again. Thanks!
