Invert selection shortcut for Word 2007

Hi, I am wondering if there is any way to select options and then press a shortcut on the keyboard to invert select(reverse select) the items not selected?

Thanks

PS: If not, is there any sort of plugin or add on that I can get that can do this?

What do you want to do with the "reverse selected" text?  It would probably be possible to write some code to do that, whatever it is.
Hope this helps,

Besides the question of "what do you want to do with the reverse selection", what exactly are you selecting and where? Is it text in a document, or a subset of the list of files shown in a dialog box, or what you called "options"? Give us a full scenario of how you would like this to work.

Hi,

for example, I would delete all the text that is not selected.
