Install Microsoft Word 2007

Is it advisable to uninstall Microsoft Works before installing Microsoft Word and Excel 2007?
You should be able to run Works and Office on the same machine.

Of course, if you are running an old version of Works, one that includes an older version of Word, Word would be upgraded.

In addition to Stefan's comment, note that Office 2007 is the last version of Office to be fully compatible with Works and will integrate with it.
