How to change default font and font-size

Hello

When my dad open a new Word 2007 document, the default font is Calibri (Body) size 11. He always has to change this to Times font-size 12 because that is the font he always works in.

How can he change the default Calibri (Body) (11) to Times font-size 12, please?

Thanks

Blueie

Answer

After your father has opened a new, blank document, ask him to do the following: Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S; Word displays the Styles pane. Click the Manage Styles icon. On the Set Defaults tab, specify the desired font and size. Select "New documents based on this template" and click OK. If a prompt appears asking for permission to save the Normal template, say yes.
