Disable Notification Prompt

Hi,

Is there a way I can have this automatically run (automatically select yes so user doesn't see this screen) and disable this box from popping up?

If the security implications of changing the registry as detailed in that article are not acceptable, what you will need to do depends on exactly how you are creating the document that displays that message when you open it.

 

If you are opening the Mail Merge Main document and it has the data source attached to it, it is not possible to prevent the message from appearing and what you would have to do is detach the datasource from the Mail Merge Main document and then have an autoopen macro that attached the data source.

 

If you are opening a document that was created by executing a merge from a mail merge main document that was created from a template to which the data source was attached, then you will need to change the template that is attached to the document so that is something other than the one from which the mail merge main document was created (the normal.dotm template may be OK for this purpose)
