Whenever im wanting to use clip art it doesn't work. I click on the icon but it always freezes is there anyway to stop that from happening so i can insert what i need?
This happened to me as well. Windows Server 2003 with ISA firewall.
Refer to this article.

I had to add a URL set in the ISA Firewall, then add a rule to allow users access to this URL.
Clipart is working fine now.
Try the below mentioned steps:
Step 1: Try opening the application in safe mode.
1. To open an application in safe mode hold the control key and then click on the application icon.
Step 2: Repair Office
1. Click start ->accessories->run->APPWIZ.CPL->ok.
2. Click on Microsoft Office -> click change-> Select Repair-> Continue.
3. Open word->Insert-> Clip Art -> expand web collection and check if you are able to view Microsoft Office Online.
If this does not resolve the issue, try the instruction mentioned in step2.
Step 3: Remove and rebuild the catalog file.
1. Close office applications and clip organizer.
2. Browse to the location
i C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Clip Organizer. Here user name is the name of the windows user account (Vista).
ii Remove the files mstore10.mgc and other Media Catalog File listed under the folder.
3. Open Clip Organizer and the catalog files will be recreated.
Note: if you are not able to find Appdata in step 2, click on organize at the top left -> folder and search option-> -> view->select Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide extension for known file types.
I have the exact same problem. Also, it only started a week ago. What is going on?
Hi
A few troubleshooting things that may help:
- Try emptying your Temp Cache in Internet Explorer
- Try compacting the organiser http://support.microsoft.com/kb/300863
- Get the clipart from the website: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/clipart/FX101321031033.aspx
As for the issue with learning the new interface, been there, done that :-) . You may find some of the stuff here useful (I used the 'ribbon mapping workbook' extensively, but preferred the old name: 'where have all the commands gone?')
PowerPoint 2007 equivalents of older version commands (and Commando)

I have read in other places something about it being related to moving the urls to reflect 2010 but haven't seen any solution yet. In the meantime, just use the website:

If I may ask, where did you read that it may be related to moving the urls?
I'm trying to figure out if I did something wrong when I installed Adobe Presenter (which was working fine for weeks in trial mode, the only change is that I registered it; I've uninstalled/repaired/reinstalled to no avail), or if there's something else going on. There's not a lot of helpful information about this issue, though.
