Setting up Outlook 2007 in Windows 7

I'm trapped in a "do loop" trying to set up Outlook 2007 in Windows 7. I tried to enter an MS Exchange Account, but apparently it's not accessible. Now whenever I start up Outlook the program continues to require the MS Exchange info, which it determines is incorrect and closes Outlook. Help!
