It will be in either C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 or C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12 depending on whether your not you're using the 32 bit version of Office and Windows.  Those are usually hidden folders, I believe.

Nothing in my Outlook 7 program is functional, nor is the scanpst file locatable. I've gone through all the steps outlined on the web to do an Inbox Repair and to locate the scanpst file. Although my files are not hidden, it is in none of the locations advised.

There is no "My Computer" in Windows 7 as it is only "Computer" and I found no scanpst file in the Office 12 folder.

Certainly, Microsoft could make this more user-friendly. There is no advice on the MS website for regarding this particular file in Windows 7.

I'm in the same boat, I've checked all the locations provided above for ScanPST.exe and haven't found it. I'm running Windows 7 with Office 2003 and am at a loss for how to repair.

The location of scanpst.exe depends on your version of Outlook, Windows and whether or not you are using 64-bit. For an overview of the correct location see;
