Microsoft Groove

I would agree it is not perfect but I have had no problems putting my music on it either from my own MP3s or from my Spotify Playlists. In fact, this site helped me transfer all my Spotify tracks relatively painlessly

We are very sorry you are having such a bad experience with Groove Music app.

Google play and Groove Music app are two different systems. This is the reason why it is not syncing correctly.

Groove Music works with OneDrive app and you can store your music content there.

Morons, releasing programs that are not ready. Then giving instructions to do this then that, are you kidding me. We should be able to press an app and it works. Just like Amazon, Google, Apple and the rest. After all these years Microsoft still doesn't get it. Intellectual morons.

EDIT: I confirmed this is not true. I am able to open Groove without being signed in and play local music files. In the attached image you can see that I am not signed in, and am 7 seconds into a track.

I see you're still looking for the first person to like your response.  The problem is that Groove Music intercepts legitimate audio files from the net and then doesn't know what to do with them.  The bigger problem is that some idiot manager at Microsoft decided to not let me choose the default program to play my audio files whether the windows media player or iTunes or anything else.  The biggest problem is that MS has become so jealous of Apple's success with neophytes who don't know a byte from a bit that some executive-level lame-brain decided to throw the professional users under the bus in order to concentrate on seeking the golden fleece of the next time-wasting social media app which will add billions in market value with nada chance of profitability.  Their only goal is to get out with their golden parachute before the house of cards falls.  Bill Gates needs to start paying attention again the way Steve Jobs did after Scully almost bankrupted Apple.

I agree, Groove is awful

1) It takes 3-4 minutes to sign in.

2) It does not search my libraries for music

3) It takes forever to do anything

4) I still prefer the Zune app experience to anything that has come out since.
