Import an image from scanner in Word 2010

Dear all,

I have problem with my scanner Canon DR-3010C in combination with office Word 2010.

I have windows 7 64-bit and office 2010 Dutch language.

When I’m try to import an image from scanner in Word 2010, I get following message:

This is the error we get when we try to scan more than 1 page.

When we scan only 1 page, this is ok.

More than 1 page, we receive the error.

I always take the custom scan in word. (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/303409)

I thought this was a problem of office 2010, so I reinstalled the old office 2003 Word English version.

Same problem: error message: an error occurred while acquiring the image

On the website of canon, I’ve downloaded every new driver/program of the Canon DR-3010C/123capture.

When I’m scanning with 123Capture to PDF, no problem.

Is this a known issue for somebody?

As the issues occurs on both versions of Office applications there seems to be no issues with the Office application.

Contact the Scanner vendor and check if there are any compatibility issues with the Office applications.
