Task 'pop.gmail.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC7D) : Your outgoing (SMTP) server does not support SSL-secured connections. If SSL-secured connections have worked in the past, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).

I'm using Outlook 2003, all of a sudden my outgoing mail will not send .  I'm using my gmail account for incoming and outgoing.  I have made sure that the ports were 995 (incoming) and 465 (outgoing).  I had a "test email" sent to me which was fine.  I clicked ok at each window.  Still won't send.  I went back into the settings and restored defaults (110 - incoming & 25 - outgoing) - still not sending.

Please help!  I have even searched the internet.  This problem just started happening this week after working fine for over 3 years or more.

More likely, GMail was temporarily "possessed" and has cleared up an issue with their servers. Glad its working for you again!
