Are you trying to install Word 2000 stand alone?

Do you have any other versions of Office installed?

To remove Office 2000 use the office 2000 removal tool available in the article below. Then reinstall Office 2000 and verify the status.

Note: Ensure that you have the office 2000 disc and the product key for reinstallation.
