How to create a document template using APA 6th edition format

Need to create a document template using APA 6th edition format for all my future research papers?  How do I create one on the Microsoft 2011 on my Mac computer?

As far as specifications that comply with that particular standard I can't say, but creating templates is a rather routine process. What distinguishes one from another is what is designed into the template. That includes any page layout specs, Styles, Fields, or anything else needed by the documents that the template will be used to generate. The key is knowing the program, its features & the requirements well enough to set up the 'base' document. Making it into a template is nothing more than a matter of using Save As & selecting the .dotx (.dotm if macros are included) file format.
