How do I remove Office 2008 after installing Office 2011?

After you have installed Office 2011, follow the steps in the following KB article to manually remove Office 2008 completely from your computer:

(Note: It is not necessary to remove Office for Mac 2008 if you are trying to install Office for Mac 2011)
