Windows 10 TrendMicro 2015 will not install

Thanks for this. I subsequently discovered Windows Defender comes with this version of the OS. Very happy to go with that. Thanks again,

Yes Defender should be used until full release and security suites have a chance to test with 10,

But TrendMicro is just another name for Mcafee and should not be used imho

Along with Advanced System care/ IOBit they are destructive to windows,

Panda is okay but still way too early for a third party security suite to be used,

Some additional malware protection programs to use are

Malwarebytes Free or Premium if you don't mind paying for the Premium version it's very good and compatible with all versions of windows and 10

This one also specializes in todays threats Malware ;)

I've been using TrendMicro for over 5 years and NEVER had an issues with it on 5+ PCs. 

I'm a sys admin and agree completely  on McaFee.  Forced to use it at work and it is a dog.

The new Norton is not to bad --- if you can ever figure out how to get it setup in the first place.

But as I said I'm using Trend Maximum Security 20** for years with no issues.  I have turned off all the Microsoft provided SW (Windows 7) and have just used this.

No IOBit software is worth using imho. 

Count yourself as lucky please select a better security !!!!!

Trend Micro is junkware and causes many BSOD and often the damage can only be cured with a clean install of windows. 

Not so.  Trend Micro as usual ignored support requests. However they secretly released upgrade Max Security TTI 10 late on 29/7/2015 and this does instal and run. Note that RTM now equals the final product of Windows 10 X64 Pro.

In a similar vein Advanced System Care 8.3 destroyed many files in the Win 10  final version and it all had to be reinstalled. Support enquiries met with nothing.  A Beta release of ASC9 was slipped out without notice on 1/8/2015 and that does instal and run without surgery. Other IOBit utilies have been removed.

In the second vein Acronis 2015 ATI Home 6615 latest upgrade does not run. Support requests have met this long term paid user with  "send us your money" for incident cover. I will not be paying for  Acronis 2016 just now secretly testing in Beta.

I've Trend micro installed ( the business security 9.0 ) ...

And if you would have read on the website on trend you would know that the needed patches are release today.

Just install my 9.0 SP2 patch for Windows 10 support without any problem on 100+ pc's.
