This looks like its a memory error (I think)... when I done the installation process it took a while but it did load into the OS successfully. Can you describe more information as to what happened before you got this error, it might have been occurred due to a previous incident.

I've gotten 0x80070570 when installing from a USB drive onto a blank partition. I've tried re-mounting the ISO to the flash drive, different partitions, and different drives. It always pops up during the second step, around 10%.

Hmm.. This is very odd indeed what PC models do you guys have as I have seen on a particular page that the Technic al Preview is not compatible with all hardware.

I have also heard things like particular PC manufacturers do sometimes have specific problems which are uncommonly found.

That's the only idea that pops in my head hearing what you guys have just said

I tried installing onto a blank HDD on my custom PC, which ran Windows 8.1.1 fine on 8 gigs of RAM, and AMD A8 processor.

I tried using the upgrade feature from setup.exe on the bootable flash drive to upgrade my laptop from Windows 8.1.1, but that just outright failed. "The installation has failed" with no additional information. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite running an Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 gigs of Ram.

Currently, I'm re-downloading the ISO on a wired connection and re-mount it. Hopefully the wireless download was corrupted.

There was a Problem with my installation files.

Downloaded again.... works:-)

Then I got

0x80070570-0x30017

at the end of the installation.

FixIt from Microsoft solves the problem.

Now I'm on Windows 10 :-)

I re-downloaded the ISO from the preview site, and it worked now. Try completely re-making the installation media.

Same problem here.  Re-downloading the ISO file, as some others suggested.  Grrr...

I got this error going from Build 9926 to 10041.  It rolled back to 9926 where I am right now, and will not go further.  I don't know if the 10041 build is available as an ISO.  Can this be a stack overflow?  I have checked disk and found errors, but that was after it locked up on subsequent attempts.
