Quick access bug. Build 10240.

I am on build 10162 and it has been a week now that I'm unable pin anything to quick access. It gives the error 'parameter is incorrect'. Tried everything, made a new account, the problem is still there. Tried sfc/ scannow using cmd as well, the problem is still there.

Along with this, I am unable to delete the recent folders when I right click file explorer in the taskbar. It says 'the item you selected is unavailable, do you want to remove this?', but when I click on delete, nothing happens. I want to see recently opened folders there but I can't, it keeps on showing these old folders. Would appreciate if someone could tell what's the fix.

Thanks.

Restore Quick access

In CMD as Admin:

del %appdata%\microsoft\windows\recent\automaticdestinations\*

This worked for me too. Interesting that I had this bug even on a fresh install of Win10.

Yea, PrivaZer seemed to remove the Quick Access links, but this restored them. Cool. Thanks.
