Windows Display Adapter iin combination with Surfave Pro 3

Hello,

did buy a original Microsoft Display Adapter and want to use it with me Surface Pro 3 running on build 9926 windows 10.

Adding as a device is not stabile. The connection is even worse.

What can I do? all original Microsoft and not working?

As a work around I use me Lumia 1520 Windows Phone running on preview for developers and it works like a charm. No exception just briljant :).

cheers Bob

Hi Bob,

Just a few questions to get a clear picture of this issue:

1. What is model number of the Microsoft Display Adapter?

2. Are you referring to Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter?

Uninstall the wireless Network drivers which concerns the device.
To do so, you need to follow the steps mentioned below-

a) On the charms bar, select search. Type device manager.
b) Now select “Device Manager”.
c) Now expand “Network adapters” and Right Click on all the “Wireless drivers” and select “Uninstall”.
d) Now restart the computer and check if you are able to enable the Wireless adapters.

Now after a restart check if the drivers load automatically. If no, Install the same from the manufacturer's website.

Contact or post the issue regarding the heat issue on relevant forums say, Insignia or other related community where other users might be facing the similar issue with the same devices.

Bob,

First check Windows Update if you don't already have the updated Intel Video display driver for SP3/W10 that was released within the past couple of days. Do NOT install the driver from the Intel website. Also, please reset the MWDA by holding in the reset button on it for 15 seconds while it is powered up.

If you still have an issue, go into device manager and uninstall the Marvell wireless adapter, but do NOT delete the driver. Restart your SP3 and it should be rediscovered and reinstalled.

Please post results of above.

The model of the Microsoft wireless display adapter is model 1628

Went trough the protocol and It did not help.

Needed to use me USB LAN device to get drivers back. Since all wireless was gone.

all the drivers did load automatically.

Same thing happens during connecting to the mwda,

display resolution changes.

Display tv goes to black, after 1 min get the start screen of the wmda.

Hi

I just bought the Microsoft wireless adapter, mine is LOT No.1445 and Model no.1628

I have a surface pro 3 core i5 256gb with 8gb ram running windows 10 build 9926.

All the updates are installed but when I try to pair my MWDA with my surface by searching for devices it does not even detect my wireless adapter at all...

There seems to be a serious problem with build 9926 and MWDA
