Apple iPod Drivers

On build 14361, my Apple iPod Nano 7th Generation is being recognized as portable device incorrectly. It is suppose to be recognized as a portable device, but it's being recognized differently from what it should be. Due to that, iTunes recognizes the device as "corrupted" and requires to restore (format) the device. Unfortunately, doing so did not solve the issue. Reinstalling and clean installing iTunes and it's components didn't solve the issue as well. On PCs running older builds of Windows 10 (such as 10586.318), though, the device's working correctly and being recognized as an "IPOD" portable device as it should. In my scenario it's an iPod Nano 7th Generation, but I saw more feedbacks about other Apple iPod devices having the same issue.

If any Microsoft Engineer reads this, please, I would really appreciate an explanation for this, or at least bit of hope that it will be fixed soon. Thanks.

Update: Build 14366 released today, but DID NOT fix the issue. I guess I have to roll back to build 14352. :\

Having issues with iPod 4th generation after update to 14366, not fixed with 14367, Windows believes that my iPod is damaged and insists in that requires to be formatted, but I connected it to another PC and it works perfectly.

I tried, removing the letter drive, removing Apple Mobile Device drivers without success.

It appears that I'm not the only one with the issue, please fix it in the next build.

14372 is out but I suspect you may still have the same problem.

I'll try, because I'm not able to restore to 14360, hope this bug is resolved in upcoming builds.

It is much more likely to be local to your environment than a bug which is why I said you will probably still have it in 72

Please run a system file check (SFC) & DISM  if you are on win 7 or higher

All instructions are in our Wiki article below...Should you have any questions please ask us.

I doubt it since my iPod works fine in my laptop that has regular Windows 10 (no Insider Preview) and the issues started on Sunday 12 with a Build update, also ... I'm not the only one having issues.
