Java depends on which browser you're using. 64 bits come with 32 bit IE which is most used.
You might try downloading and saving it to your desktop. Reinstall after disabling av software, firewall, etc...

Using Windows Update (Start > All Programs > Windows Update) Is/has IE 9 been one of the updates listed for installation?

From my MSN home page when I click a NY Dow Jones stock IE 9 launches this.(http://investing.money.msn.com/investments/stock-price?symbol=US%3aGE Next I get: message from web page Stack overflow at line 5.
Thank you so much for even thinking of helping me. With you help I know the computer is going to work much better.
thanking you once again. ab
It happens when I go to check any stock from msn. I copied the site I use:http://investing.money.msn.com/investments/stock-price?symbol=t&ocid=qbeb
and again the problem is: Message from webe page Stack overflow at line 5. This only started after I installed IE9. I tried the first fix you sent and that caused a problem with the Solution Center related to my HP Printer. The fix for that was to run the CD. I mention it but it is not a problem now.
1) What Anti-Virus software are you using? Disable it for testing purposes. Return to site. Does issue still persist?
2) Try disabling browser extensions
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > Select Disable Third-party browser extensions
Click Apply
Click Ok
3 )Have you tried disabling Add-ons? Start>Type Internet Explorer and select Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) Return to msn site to see if issue persists. If not, enable add-ons one by one.
4) Also check in control panel Programs and Features to see if you're running Adobe Flash version 10.3 and Java version 6 update 24.
Thanks, AndyB60.

When you access the site are you using IE 64Bit or IE 32Bit? 32Bit is the most commonly used.
This issue is mostly caused by software conflict. You said in one instance there was an issue with HP printer. Did you by any chance uninstall/reinstall or even disconnect the printer from computer during the time you were using IE 9?
Were you using InPrivate Filtering when accessing the site?
Another with same issue: See FixerUpper's response
If only happening with the one site, the possibility remains the site may be at fault.

I can not beleive the great help I am receiving. Thank you to all. I am now starting to think like a technician. I'll explain, but first. The issue with the HP Printer was surrounded around loading a program called the solution center. The fix was to insesrt
the CD and let the computer find the missing components. I also checked for downloads and updates. That issue seems resolved. I am not in private filtering when accessing the site. But in regards to thinking like a technician I realize the site works fine
from IE 9. The problem is with MSN Premium version 10.00.0079 2600.
OH and everything is operating at 64 Bit.
Download the CCleaner Utility and run a scan on your registry. Let it fix errors found. Then try MSN Money - Any problems?
It's a free utility
