Hi,

If you want to access the 32-bit browser follow the below steps.

To create a shortcut, please follow these steps:

 1. Right click on the desktop.

2. Click on New, and then click on Shortcut.

3. Once you click on Shortcut, you will get a box as Type the location of the item.

4. Type the following command "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

5. Click next and finish the process.

Then you can open a 32-bit Internet explorer.

Hi!

I tried the above with no success.

I have Windows 7.

I have problems connecting with the Internet and the people in COMCAST told me to change the browser from 64 bit mode to 32, since they do not support 64...

I carefully followed your instructions but it says that it doesnt find the program.

Could you please help me... thanks in advance!

I have Windows 7 also and the proposed solution doesn't work. My laptop is 32-bit, so I guess I'll have to use that .

I had no problem - entered the thread and got the new shortcut.  Can I suggest you copy the command instead of typing it in.  This worked for me.  I have Windows 7.

I followed your instruction and created the short cut
Loaded Flash Player 10
However if I use my regular iExplore I get the same old Msg " need to install flashPlayer 10"
but if I launch the short cut which I called it iExplorer-32.. then all web pages work fine and I no longer get the error Msg. anymore...
so I think most of people still having problem are continue to use thier iExplore-64 and not the 32 bit you shown in your original Msg...
good luck U all...

I have a 64-bit, windows 7. This fix worked perfectly for me, just saved a copy in my start menu with the name 32 bit explorer so I can access it again when needed. Thanks for the solution, easy to follow and works great!
