Dear Experts-

I have been working in tuning our site (chennai properties) based on YSlow and Pagespeed. One of the component of my results set says the following

Grade B on Reduce the number of DOM elements

There are 946 DOM elements on the page

A complex page means more bytes to download, and it also means slower DOM access in JavaScript. Reduce the number of DOM elements on the page to improve performance.

How to avoid the DOM elements on my site so that the YSlow grade will be improved? I have been working on performance tuning my site to get the higher YSlow grade.

IE 8 runs very very slowly until I run IE Safety and Performance using the Microsoft Fixit Center program, where the end result is always "Data Execution Prevention Disabled"-----"corrected." It is a large nuisance to always have to be using that corrective program to yield up-to-speed performance with IE8. Is there a way I can permanently correct this defect?

I run Windows Vista Home Premium. I have tried upgrading IE to IE9 multiple times, unsuccessfully("...is not responding" is the inevitable result with IE9).

I am unable to watch videos on youtube and other sites. I have repeatedly downloaded adobe flashplayer. I even temporarily disabled my anti-virus protection

during download. I wanted to make sure that I was downloading adobe properly. I restarted after the download. I do see the latest version of adobe flashplayer in my list of programs. Despite all of these things, when I go to youtube,it states that I have to download the latest version of adobe flashplayer. Either It's not downloading

or for some reason,youtube does not detect it on my computer. On the youtube site, I am also seeing the statement that I will soon need to get the latest version

All of this just started to happen. One thing that I did before this happened is; I attempted to make my computer run faster. I have been reconfiguring things. I have

been elimainating files. I have been changing default settings. It's possible that I made some type of mistake and it's fowled up my computer's ability for me to

When I put a a shortcut on my desktop from a location, and then I try to click on the shortccut to open the location I get the following error message.

I am using a commerce cart , Pinnacle Cart, version 3.7.10 that has issues with the display of Drop down menus pushing content around the page.

Compatibility view seems to help temporarily.

Is there a permanent fix for this?

How can I rerun a search in ie 9? Before you had a separate window where the search criteria remained as you went through pages. IE 9 loses the search criteria as soon as the results page returns. Then you have to type the criteria all over again. Not good.

IE 8 has a separate search field so it doesn't refresh when you go to a different page.

This is a problem with combining the search field and the address field.

Help!

I'm trying to open files (Doc, PDF, powerpoint. etc.), IE asks me "open,' "save," or "cancel." I clicked "open" but it doesn't open the file although I waited for a while. So I clicked "save" instead. The file was downloaded and IE gave me option, "open," "open file," or "cancel/close." I clicked "open" but nothing happened. I dont know why but everytime I try to open file through IE, this happens. So now I have to save the file first, and then go to Windows Exploer and click the file to open it. I really hate to do this. I just wanna simply open files by clicking "open". I need a help. thanks

After I boot by computer, I cannot access the internet. I get the message "internet explorer cannot display web page". I click on the "diagnose connection problems" tab and then I click on the tab "automatically get new IP settings for the network adaptor Local Area Connection" which resolves the problem and connects me back to the internet. This happens every time I boot my computer. How can I resolve this problem? Everything worked fine until I lost my DSL connection for a few days. I'm currently running Windows Vista. Thanks.

I am getting this annoying pop up at multiple commercial sites. Have Vista 64 Bit, up to date Norton anti virus, malwarebytes, pop up blockers on....everything is scanned but I can't get rid of this and nothing shows up on Norton or Malwarebytes as infected. Driving me crazy!

I have been told that it is not really a pop-up (I don't understand that either) Also that it is not harmful. I think not! It is causing me a great deal of frustration!!

Hi, I am having difficulty with ie - i can't update it and am frequently getting the operation aborted message which closes down sites. I have tried to install service pack 1 for vista, which i think would solve this problem, but windows won't let me do this - it installs so far then fails. I have been able to access Poems and Fundsupermart website using Internet Explorer 9. But recently when I tried accessing Poems and Fundsupermart website, I have been encountering the message "Internet Explorer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Later on, Internet Explorer close and reopen the tab and the problem continues.

I have tried using Internet Explorer 7 & 8 but the same problem arises. I have no problem accessing other websites. The problem arises when I go to Poems homepage. I am able to access Fundsupermart homepage but when I click on Login, the problem arises.

I have reset my Internet settings to default settings but the problem continues.

Would appreciate a solution from you.
