Problem Viewing Windows Phone Marketplace from Windows 7

I'm suddenly (Just started happening today) attempting to view Windows Phone Marketplace from my Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit)...it happens regardless of which IE 9 version (32 bit/64 bit) I'm using.

The error I get is as follows:

"This content cannot be displayed in a frame

To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame."

I'm NOT getting this error when I try to view this site while using W8 CP.

How do I fix this so I can view the site?

I'm having problems with embedding videos within an iframe. The problem seems to be with a method of video element "canPlayType" - instead of returning true/false/undefined it throws an error. See for example:

I have a cold fusion website that uses activeedit (tiny_mce)

In older versions of IE an addon notice would pop-up saying: This website wants to run the following add-on: 'Microsoft (R) Dynamic HTML Editing Control' from Microsoft Corporation'. If you trust the webwsite and the add-on and want to allow it to run click here...

This is an editor for websites but I have not been able to find it for IE9

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Experts-

I have been working in tuning our site (chennai properties) based on YSlow and Pagespeed. One of the component of my results set says the following

Grade B on Reduce the number of DOM elements

There are 946 DOM elements on the page

A complex page means more bytes to download, and it also means slower DOM access in JavaScript. Reduce the number of DOM elements on the page to improve performance.

How to avoid the DOM elements on my site so that the YSlow grade will be improved? I have been working on performance tuning my site to get the higher YSlow grade.

Hi All,

I really hope you can help me as this is so frustrating! I have a windows server 2008 R2 x64 operating system and I cannot install IE9 it constantly crashes as soon as I try to run the exe file. I tried a compatibility test and it says its not compatible with my version of windows, however I know for a fact it is.

Why is this not working it is completely bizzare!

I am having trouble accessing Amazon.com using the latest IE & Google Chrome. My ISP is Optimum Cable and when I connect my laptop to a DSL connection through the phone company, I have no trouble at all. Two of my neighbors also have Optimum as their ISP's and they are not experiencing the same trouble accessing Amazon. Any ideas?

I am unable to run streaming videos from some sites. Specifically NBC.com. The videos run fine on Firefox and Google Crome. I at first thought the cause was my virus software but still doesn't work even if I uninstall Security essentials. I have scrubbed McAfee and Norton AV using their tools. They were both previously installed on this machine. I will also add that I have 4 computers and all exibit the same issue. One is running XP with IE8, the others are W7. One 64 bit, other two 32 bit.

I am unable to watch videos on youtube and other sites. I have repeatedly downloaded adobe flashplayer. I even temporarily disabled my anti-virus protection

during download. I wanted to make sure that I was downloading adobe properly. I restarted after the download. I do see the latest version of adobe flashplayer in my list of programs. Despite all of these things, when I go to youtube,it states that I have to download the latest version of adobe flashplayer. Either It's not downloading

or for some reason,youtube does not detect it on my computer. On the youtube site, I am also seeing the statement that I will soon need to get the latest version

On Windows 7 Home Premium. I had to roll back IE to 8 (through Programs and Features) in order to register some software. Now I've tried downloading and reinstalling IE9 three times. One time the install hung and left the troubleshooter on my desktop with no information that seemed pertinent (since IE9 was running fine, I assume I have all of the prerequisets. The other two times, the install seemed to work, but I still get IE8 when I run it. That is, the installer said it installed IE9, but when I run IE it's still version 8.

for example:

now i have to type: http://server.domain.com/

this just started happening and i havn't been able to find a fix for it online.

Things i have tried:

upgrading to IE9

uninstalling IE9

uninstalling IE8

reseting all IE defaults

also, the NON-FQDN works with all my other explorers(Firefox, Chrome). so, this turns me away from a DNS issue and points to an isolated IE issue.

Hi,

This is a weird problem. Every time I press down Alt+Shift or change the language manually between English and Persian on my PC, IE9 doesn't recognize it and keeps typing in the previously used language. This is limited only to the Address bar though. Even right now that I'm typing this, everything that I type in the address bar will appear in Persian, and strangely every where else the keyboard layout is English and works fine.

Any ideas how to fix this? It is really annoying. Thanks in advance.

Hope you can help... I live in Spain but am British. Although I have chosen google.com for my first tab and google.co.uk for my second tab in Internet options, whenever I open IE9, it loads the first tab as google.es (the Spanish google). Presumably, this is some sort of intuitive mechanism but, surely, it shouldn't be being applied to my own selections for start-up tabs in Internet options. If I wanted google.es I would have typed that into the box... Is there any way I can stop this from happening? Thanks

I recently downloaded malware that seemed to target both IE and Firefox... they displayed blank black screens in the browser windows and started spazzing out with pop-ups. I believe I have since successfully removed the malware, but the problems were still persisting so my next step was to try a clean install of IE. I found several tutorials that led me to the location of IE files and instructed me to delete them (I think this was bad information and where things started going very wrong).

However, when I tried to do the new install it told me the newest version of IE was already installed so it could not continue. I then found another tutorial that showed me how to remove IE through the "windows features" menu and another that showed me how to uninstall the IE update in Windows Update. I honestly do not remember which order I performed those in, but they have both been done.

Now, when I try to install IE9 it, it starts but fails to complete the installation. Plus, all kinds of other problems popped up now... Outlook 2007 won't load anymore because there is no IE found on my system... even Windows Explorer has started experiencing strange errors and quirks.

I honestly don't really know where to start at this point, so I am posting this as a last ditch effort to avoid a fresh install of Windows 7. If there is any specific info about my system that would help, please ask and I will provide. Thank you!

Windows minimize randomly when hand leaves mouse to type

Windows 7 has been doing this for the last 16 months. I place the cursor where I want to type and take my hand of the mouse. Just as I move my hand to the keyboard, the window disappears. When I move my hand back to the mouse the window reappears. This happens in Work, Outlook, Internet Explorer and Firefox. In fact it just happened when I tried to fill out this form. At one point, someone sent me an applet to disable Aero Shake. That seemed to work for a while, but the problem returned. Reinstalling the applet didn't help. Dell claims not to know anything about this problem, but my son is having the same problem with his Dell computer. I have heard of others, so it can't be unknown to Microsoft. I'm using no other peripherals, and Dell just sent a tech to replace my keyboard and touch pad. That didn't help with this problem. The problem does seem to be worse now that I have reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows 7. I sure would like a solution.
