Answer

Hi aqm0207,

How you are trying to install Windows XP Home?

You may receive a "Stop 0x0000007B" error message in the following scenarios:

a) A device driver that the computer boot controller needs is not configured to start during the startup process.

b) A device driver that the computer boot controller needs is corrupted.

c)It may also occur if the hard drive settings in BIOS are incorrect.

You may verify if the SATA hard drive is properly configured in BIOS (Basic Input Output System) & may also update the BIOS. If you are not comfortable doing it, you may contact your computer manufacturer for assistance.

Note: Modifying BIOS/ chipset incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/chipset can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.
